Overview

FindRightDoc ("we," "us," or "our") operates the FindRightDoc web application located at findrightdoc.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise handle information when you use our Service.

We are committed to protecting your privacy, especially as it relates to health information. We design our Service to collect minimal data and never permanently store your medical information.

Information We Collect

Symptom Information (Session-Based, Not Stored)

When you use FindRightDoc, you may describe your symptoms and answer follow-up questions. This information is processed in real-time by our AI clinical triage engine to match you with appropriate specialist types. We do not permanently store your symptom descriptions or medical information. Your data is processed during your session and then discarded.

Location Data (With Your Permission)

If you grant permission, we collect your geographic location to find doctors and specialists near you. We use this location data with the Google Places API to identify nearby providers. Location data is used only during your session to perform provider searches and is not permanently stored.

Analytics Events

We collect anonymous analytics events to understand how users interact with FindRightDoc. This includes:

  • Page views
  • Button clicks
  • Form submissions (without capturing form data)
  • Time spent on pages
  • Referral sources

These events are anonymized and do not include personally identifiable information or medical details.

Device and Browser Information

We automatically collect information about your device and browser, including IP address, browser type, operating system, and device type. This information helps us understand which devices use our Service and identify potential technical issues.

Cookies

FindRightDoc uses cookies for analytics purposes only. We do not use cookies to track medical information or personal health data. Our cookies help us understand user behavior and improve the Service. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.

Information We Do NOT Collect or Store

FindRightDoc is designed to minimize data collection. We explicitly do NOT:

  • Create user accounts or require logins
  • Store medical records or patient health information
  • Store symptom descriptions after your session ends
  • Build permanent patient profiles
  • Collect or store credit card information
  • Collect insurance information
  • Collect demographic information (age, gender, etc.)
  • Track individuals across different sessions
  • Use tracking pixels to follow users across websites

Third-Party Services

Google Places API

FindRightDoc uses the Google Places API to retrieve provider information (names, addresses, phone numbers, specialties) and show nearby doctors. Your location data is transmitted to Google to perform these searches. Google's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing Google's Privacy Policy.

AI Symptom Analysis

FindRightDoc uses AI-powered clinical triage technology to analyze your symptom descriptions and recommend appropriate specialist types. Your symptom information is transmitted to our triage engine for processing in real-time. We use clinically-validated medical AI services that are designed for healthcare applications. Your symptom data is processed during your active session only and is not permanently stored. We do not use your symptom data for training AI models. Our AI partners are held to healthcare-grade data handling standards.

Analytics Services

We use analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to track anonymous usage patterns and understand how our Service performs. These services may set cookies and collect IP addresses. No medical information or personally identifiable information is sent to analytics services.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process your symptom descriptions in real-time to match you with specialist types
  • Find nearby doctors and healthcare providers using your location
  • Operate and improve the FindRightDoc Service
  • Understand how users interact with our Service through anonymous analytics
  • Identify and fix technical issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

Data Security

FindRightDoc is hosted on secure infrastructure with encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS). All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted. Session data is transmitted securely and discarded after your session ends.

However, no security system is impenetrable. While we implement industry-standard protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security. By using FindRightDoc, you acknowledge that you understand these limitations.

Children's Privacy

FindRightDoc is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has used our Service, we will take steps to remove that information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used FindRightDoc, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

Your Privacy Rights

Right to Opt-Out

You can disable analytics cookies and decline location sharing through your browser or device settings. This may limit certain features of FindRightDoc (such as the ability to find nearby providers).

Right to Not Be Discriminated Against

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
